Maxtec Hose Fitting Change Notification
Dear Valued Customer,
This letter is to inform you that Maxtec is in the process of making a change to a product you purchase. Maxtec has recently observed an increase in demand for our hoses. In an effort to ensure our customers receive the best service possible, we have added an additional supplier for the hose fittings and adapters. Using this additional supplier will alleviate risks of supply issues and allow Maxtec to better meet demand for hoses going forward. There are 4 different hose fittings and one adapter affected by this change. The list of affected products can be found in the attached PDF. These new fittings and adapters have the same fit, function, performance, and material as the existing fittings and adapters, but they have a slightly different look (the photos in the attached PDF show a side-by-side comparison of existing fittings/adapters and the new fittings/adapters).
Effective 45 days following the date of this notification, Maxtec will be incorporating both our existing fittings/adapters and these additional fittings/adapters into our hoses. Going forward, we will use both fitting/adapter versions in our hoses and customers can expect to receive shipments that include either version. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
